Meghan Weyrens Kuhn
Assistant Director for Leadership Education Collaborative
Meghan Weyrens Kuhn is the assistant director for Leadership Education Collaborative. In this role, Kuhn assists with the crafting of experiences that equip student leaders at Virginia Tech. She will provide leadership and supervision to the graduate assistant for leadership learning. Kuhn will work collaboratively with the graduate student to advise the Leadership Tech Experience and Virginia Tech’s involvement in the ACC Leadership Symposium each spring. She previously served as a case manager for Student Advocacy, where she provided crisis management and advocacy to students in need within the Virginia Tech community. Kuhn has worked closely with Student Conduct, leadership education, gendered-based violence, and StrengthsQuest education. She serves on various committees, including co-convening the Division of Student Affairs Strengths-Based Learning committee and the Leadership Circle for assistant directors.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Biology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, Kuhn worked for Discovery Communications Inc. in New York City. She received a master’s of arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia Tech in 2007.
